Buckden is a village in Upper Wharfedale, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The house is in the middle of the village, immediately behind the pub, the Buck Inn.

The village is 15 miles north of Skipton on the B6160 (from Skipton go north on the B6265 to Grassington, then on to Buckden on the B6160, which is two villages past Kettlewell). You can also arrive from the north, down the B6160 from the direction of Hawes-Leyburn-Richmond.
The nearest railway station is Skipton, although you'll need your
own car to make the best of Buckden and the surrounding countryside.
